Custom Builds
Ask BitAspire AI for a fix or a feature and get a custom jar of a premium plugin.
For our premium plugins, the AI can build a custom version with the change you ask for: a bug fix, a new option, or a small feature. It compiles the plugin and posts the finished jar in your thread.
How a build works
Describe the change
Say what you want changed in the plugin's help forum, as specifically as you can. Screenshots and config files help.
The AI looks at the code first
Before anything is built, it reads the plugin's code and tells you what it found: whether the change is really needed, whether a setting already does it, and what it would change. If a setting already covers it, you get that instead of a build.
Confirm
Press the button on its card, or just type yes (you can add extra requirements in the same message, for example "yes, and keep the old command working"). Type no to drop it.
Follow the progress
A status message shows what it is doing (planning, coding, reviewing, compiling) with a progress bar and a rough time left. It may ask you a couple of questions before it starts coding; answer them right there in the thread.
Get your jar
The finished jar is posted in the thread with a short summary of what changed and anything worth testing. Then tell it how it went: It's perfect, or Needs tweaks to ask for changes.
Stopping a build
Press Cancel on the status message, or type cancel in the thread. The build stops within a few seconds. If you say something like "never mind, I figured it out" while a build is running, it asks whether you want it stopped.
What every build keeps to
- Your existing setup keeps working. Existing config keys, commands, permissions and messages stay as they are; new options default to the old behavior.
- Built for everyone, not hardcoded for one server. Personal requests are turned into options any server can use.
- No build-file or dependency changes, so the plugin stays as stable as the official release.
- Premium stays premium. Premium-only features are never added to our free plugins.
The AI may decline a request that would break the plugin, does not fit what the plugin is for, or is not something it can turn into a sound feature.
BAT levels
Build messages show which BAT level did the work, from Low to Max. The AI picks the level automatically from the size of the job: small tweaks use a faster level, bigger changes a stronger one.
Custom builds and official releases
A custom jar is built for you and is separate from the official release on SpigotMC. A custom change that works well may be polished and added to the official plugin later.
